The Italian territory has always been a fertile land for creativity, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. There are numerous Italian brands, with a rich historical heritage, that are famous internationally and have contributed to spreading the prestige of Made in Italy throughout the world. In order to protect and celebrate this immense heritage, the Decree of the Minister of Economic Development of 10 January 2020 established the brand “Historical brand of national interest”,, a title reserved for Italian companies with over 50 years of history that have contributed significantly to the expansion and strengthening of Made in Italy, distinguishing themselves in the marketing of excellent products historically linked to the Italian territory.

Modiano has also chosen to join the Association of Historic Brand Owner Companies, an organization established in 2021 with the aim of pursuing common objectives including the valorisation and protection of historic brands as national heritage, the vocation to the international dimension of Made in Italy, as Italy’s flagship and the promotion of business culture. This last characteristic has allowed historic brands to preserve their reputation over time.
